Diani Beach runs 17 kilometres and contains over 50 accommodation options. Before comparing them, three decisions simplify the choice dramatically. First: central Diani or southern Galu? Central Diani (near Diani Beach Road) has the highest concentration of water sports, restaurants, and activity providers. Galu Beach south of the main strip is quieter, cleaner, and more private — the choice for couples who want the beach without the infrastructure. Second: boutique or resort? Diani’s boutique properties (Kinondo Kwetu, The Sands at Nomad) are smaller, more personal, and produce the most memorable stays.
